- GUARA | danielaferrodesign
GUARÁ COLLECTION Página Inicial 3D DOWNLOAD + Formed by armchair, rocking chair, sofa, chair in versions with and without arms, stool, table base and tea cart, the Guará Collection was developed by Asa Design exclusively for Dona Flor Furniture. The Guará Collection is inspired by the size and personality of the maned wolf, a typical animal from the Brazilian Cerrado. Large, upright ears, golden-red fur and black “gloves” at the ends of the legs make the manatee a very different wolf from its relatives who live in cold regions. With solitary habits, it is a symbol of the beauty and mysteries of central Brazil. The design of the pieces abstracts the characteristics of the maned wolf, creating furniture characterized by slender profiles, the combination of colors and materials, extreme comfort and minimalist sophistication. The use of colored wefts, the refined joinery work present in the structures and arms, and the comfort provided by perfect ergonomics and cushions help to further enhance the concept proposed by the Guará Collection. Thus, in the furniture, the concise and expressive trait, the harmony of proportions and the true comfort - provided by ergonomics - are manifested in a ubiquitous way. Always looking for the valorization of Brazilian culture, combining beauty, authenticity and timelessness. WHAT INSPIRES ME “Design will be useless, if you don't have the ability to thrill. ” “In addition to being an academic training and a profession, design is an attitude of always proposing something new to the world, in a way that the novelty can be accepted, understood and appreciated. " “What inspires me? The warmth of wood and natural materials. ” “The designer does not design for himself, but for others. Therefore, you need to understand the contexts in which your creation will be manufactured, sold and used. ” "The creation process is discontinuous, it requires experimentation, intensive dedication and courage / BOLDNESS. Designing is taking the risk! " “ The house is a haven, a place to relax and dream from the search for calm and silence. Where the pace of life slows down and the mind is allowed to travel. - ANAUE | danielaferrodesign
ANAUÊ 3D DOWNLOAD + Página Inicial Indigenous culture, with its wealth of details and meanings, dialoguing with modernity and the cosmopolitan spirit of Brazilian design. This was the source and inspiration for the creation of new pieces signed exclusively by designer Daniela Ferro for Donaflor. Geometry, contrast between textures, symmetry and organicity are some of the plastic characteristics inherent to Brazilian indigenous art. The ANAUÊ chair, armchair and ottoman mirror these characteristics, which we can find above all in body painting, in ritualistic costumes and in handicraft objects. ANAUÊ is characterized by organic and fluid lines, where backrests and sides are integrated, forming a visual unit that communicates harmony and welcoming. The relaxation armchair, with its high backrest, comes in two versions: fixed armchair, with a finely worked wooden base, and rocking armchair, which adds a playful and relaxed dimension to the collection. The ANAUÊ chair, the most recent launch, carries the unmistakable personality of the collection, in a version where the lightness of the woven fibers and the wooden base provides the necessary harmony for the composition of a dining room. The woven fibers create a light, sophisticated and original visual effect, and the design of the wefts refers to body painting and indigenous basketry. In addition to the collection, the pouf was also developed. COME BACK
