Cora Coralina, a poet born in the city of Goiás in 1889, was notable for the production of a literary work that was both powerful and simple, courageous and simple. The Cora chair stands out for its vertically woven backrest, a feature that creates a texture that makes subtle mention of the old wool shawls, which the poet brings with her in several of the photos we have of her. The low back also makes mention of his stripped and welcoming personality. It is a piece that evokes our affective memory, of living with our grandmothers, their houses, lace blankets and coffee in the teapot.
