Lygia Clark is one of the great icons of contemporary Brazilian art. His work was notable for exploring the sensory universe of art, with works that invite interaction and joint creation with the observer, and even today it reverberates around the world.
The design of the Clark armchair was inspired by Lygia's work, more specifically in her series “Bichos”, which are articulated metal planes, which can be manipulated by the observer, each time creating a different shape.
The chair has an integrated seat shell and backrest, formed by plans with junction in marked creases. The arms and the base have a markedly geometric design.
